SENIOR ACTIVITIES

May 14th(A)    Senior Exams     3rdhour,  5thhour and 7thhour

May 15th(B)    Senior Exams     2ndhour 6thhour, and 8thhour

May 16th(A)    1stHour Exam (for all);   
       
              Senior Awards Assembly 3rdHour (9:25-11:00) (Seniors will be dismissed after the assembly)

May 18th   Graduation Rehearsal  8:00 am  This is MANDATORY in order to participate in the ceremony .

May 20th   Graduation at 2:00 pm. Seniors need to arrive no later than 12:30 with the Senior Picture taken at 1:00 

Athletics/Activities Updates

Sports This Week
  • The baseball team will be playing at Trinity Catholic on Saturday, May 12, 2012 starting 10 am in the first round.  Hope to see everyone there. 
     
  •  The Girls Soccer team received the number 1 seed in their district and will play the winner of Canton and Montgomery County on Thursday May 17 at 5pm in Winfield.  Come out support the girls as they battle for another district championship next Thursday.  Admission to the game will be $4.00.

Track

The Winfield High School Track team participated in the Missouri State Class 3, District 4 Track meet held at Mexico High School this past Saturday. The boys finished in a tie for 9th place with a total of 13 points while the girls finished in 16th place out of 17 schools, scoring 1 point. The lone scorer on the girls side was Freshman, Lindsey Gremaud, as she finished in eighth place in the 200 meters. Lindsey ran a personal best of 28.44 in the preliminaries to reach the finals.

The boys team was led by the performance of Kyle Lippmann. Kyle leapt to personal bests in both the high jump and long jump. In both events Kyle qualified for next week's Sectional, which will be held at MICDS. In the high jump Kyle placed third with a school record tying height of 6 foot 3 inches. Kyle also advanced to Sectionals in the long jump with a new best jump of 20 feet and one half inch to place fourth. With these performances Kyle was the Warriors lone qualifier for the upcoming Sectionals at MICDS.

To finish out the scoring for the boys team, Ryan Daniel finished seventh in the 200 meters. Ryan also ran his fastest time of the year with an automatically timed score of 23.88 in his preliminary performance which qualified Ryan for the finals.
