Registering with the Selective Service

Listen up!  This is an important announcement for all 17- and 18-year old men.  We want you to remember that when you turn 18, it is your civic responsibility to register with Selective Service.  Registering with Selective Service is a federal law and those who fail to register may be denied student loans, job training, government jobs, and driver’s licenses in most states.  You can get a Selective Service registration card at your local post office or register online at www.sss.gov.  If you have any questions regarding registration, please speak with your guidance counselor.
